Universe by Taylor Knight
In the year 2089 many things have changed. The world is at peace, however, chaos looms in the near future. The collision of a large meteor with the rings of Saturn has launched 3 moons, and massive amounts of debris, out of Saturn's orbit and towards Earth. Eliza Getz and her much younger sister, Lolita, find themselves abandoned after Lolita becomes part of the 2% to develop a new paranormal phenomenon that plunges the world back into fear and distrust. FBI Agents, Aria Bloom and Andrew Koi, see Lolita's new abilities as a possible "solution", not a threat, Befriending the two girls when they need help, will they unlock and discover the extent of these new abilities to help save the world from destruction? If not in this reality, in another?
Linda's stories are memoirs from the authors childhood which take place in the 1940's-1960's. Growing up on a farm near Pukwana, SD, with her nine brothers and sisters, Linda's Stories are heartfelt and educational. What was it like to grow up in rural South Dakota in the 1940's? Originally written as stories Linda told to help her grandchildren fall asleep, these short stories will keep you entertained for hours.
The Secret of Pollard's Bay
This book is a compellation of two short stories. "Duke and the Queen" and "Duke Shares the Secret with a New Friend"
In the first short story, we follow Sherman, Old Gus, and Gus's black lab, Duke, on a walleye fishing trip. When a visitor crawls up to release Sherman's basket of fish, the new fisherman learns something he never could have imagined!
In the second short story, Sherman surprises his friend, Samantha, with a picnic lunch at Pollard's Bay. This is Samantha's first lake adventure. Even though she is an avid swimmer, Samantha finds many surprises waiting for her in Pollard's Bay!
Sherman to the Rescue!
Sherman, Mattie, and Nathan's adventure takes them from the far reaches of Phantom Lake. Along the way, the three friends learn about ingenuity, conservation, friendship, and bravery.
My Sweet Dreams Castle- The Magical Way I Put Myself to Sleep
Designed for children 0-6 years old (although children up to 12 yrs old have shown interest!) Easy reading for younger readers. This "Going to sleep" book teaches self-soothing techniques and allows your child to choose from three different endings. Visit a Fairyland forest, or go up in the clouds, with Star Light the Unicorn, or take an adventure to a cave in the mountains to meet Dray the Dragon. He is made totally out of gummy bears! All three endings help relax your child for a restful night's sleep.
If you're reading this, I have a feeling we've met, or you're just good at google searching random stuff! Lol. Ok. So far, I have 2 children's books out, under the name T.L.York. However, now I'm feeling compelled to write something for the young adults and those of you who like a bit of a thriller (not for little kids!) I picked a different pen name, Taylor Knight (you can find me on Facebook, I'm the one with the red cape...lol).
I have a futuristic story about two sisters who have to depend on each other when the world turns upside down. There is a bit of a romantic sub story in it as well, (with a handsome young man named Agent Andrew Koi) along with a lot of action and suspense. There are even some 'Easter Eggs' hidden in the plot, I'll discuss on my Facebook page and podcast. Interested? Contact me through the above link and I'll let you know where my first Meet the Author Event will be, and how to get one of the first copies! The Podcast is on Podbean under "Keeping it Real with Taylor Knight" If you'd like to call in and be on my podcast to discuss my upcoming book, the universe (or quantum physics), or my latest Podcast "Not Falling for Utopia" leave your contact information at the link above!
